Wild Light Evenings: Star Bathing & Nourish
with Mark Seeto , Tammy Kelly
SAT AUG 15, 6 - 9 PM AEST (SAT AUG 15, 6 - 9 PM AEST)

Join us for a deeply immersive evening beneath the vast Port Stephens night sky — a gentle journey of firelight, nourishment, nature connection, and stillness.

We begin at the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary, gathering around the warmth of a campfire for a mindful opening ceremony designed to help you slow down, arrive fully, and transition gently out of the busyness of everyday life.

From here, we share a nourishing dinner inspired by Australian native ingredients — a sensory dining experience that celebrates place, seasonality, and connection.

As darkness settles, we step quietly into nature together for a guided nighttime bush bathing journey. Moving mostly in silence, we wander slowly through the landscape toward the breathtaking Samurai Sand Dunes, allowing the senses to awaken beneath the stars.

Awaiting you on the dunes is your own bean bag and a Silent Sounds headset. Here, you’ll be guided through an immersive meditation experience designed to calm the nervous system and deepen your connection to self, nature, and the cosmos above. As the guidance fades, silence remains — an invitation to simply rest beneath the stars and surrender to the beauty, stillness, and vastness of the night sky.

We gently return with a candlelit-style circle share beneath the stars before making our way back to the sanctuary in organised transport.

To close the evening, we gather once more around the fire for native wattle seed hot chocolate and authentic human connection — ending the night grounded, nourished, and restored.

A truly unique Wild Light experience where mindfulness meets nature, storytelling, sensory immersion, and the wonder of the universe above.

Please note: this experience includes a moderate 500m guided walk to the Samurai Sand Dunes along a sandy bush track. We will then be transported back to the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary via organised transport.
